Biography

Well to start off, my name is Shawn Chase and I'm from Mullica Township.I am a junior at Cedar Creek High School. I am a very outgoing person and I love to just have fun. I'm really into music, not playing it but listening to it. I like just about all types of music, like screamo, hip-hop, and some country. I enjoy being outside, going fishing, riding quads, and camping. I'm not much of a writer but i try my hardest to write about things that I like in hopes that I will try harder to make my work quite well. When I'm not outside I usually help out inside doing chores and just relaxing. I may not have the most exciting life but to me it's perfect.

Tears

Tears take time to parish

They begin as just thin emotions

And can end up trickling down the face of anyone

They say tears are a sign of weakness

But to me there a sign of compassion

Compassion towards whatever it is you may have lost or gained

Tears are like rain drops falling on your cheeks

They are the body’s storm

Tears come from any emotional state

They may come from that last goodbye at the train station

Tears tell people that you do care

Tears don’t fall

They crash around me

Faith

Fearing the worse

Allow me a chance

Inside, your emotions are confused

Take time to realize our love is not used

Have faith in me

I miss you.

The days go by slow,

The nights are long and filled with fear and confusion.

Why? Why must this happen?

The smell of disaster fills the air

As soon as a thought of you arrives in my mind.

Things turned out for the best..

I guess..

I cannot live, I can’t breathe unless you are by my side, mentally and physically.

Now close your eyes.

What do you see?

Nothing?

That’s my life without you.

Josh

Tall, Cool, Outgoing

Brother of Joey

Lover of bikes, kool-aid, and water melon

Who feels happy, pinches, no pain

Who needs a dollar, a dollar, a dollar is what he needs

Who gives to the needy, soup, and wet willies

Who fears spiders, sticks in his face, and drowning

Who’d like to see Johnny Knoxville

Who dreams of fields of green, red roses too

A student of Cedar Creek

When the family gets there, they see the sun beginning to set so they ask a local villager to take a picture of them. The family lines up, and the feller said “Say cheese!” and the flash goes off. But what happens next will shock you, Vanessa was gone. She just disappeared in the blink of an eye. The family’s first reaction was to look off the cliff but there was no body at the bottom. This vacation is not a vacation anymore. It was now a mystery.

This poem means a lot to me. I thought of the idea of it after listening to one my favorite songs by A Day To Remember. The song is about having faith in someone. I feel like anyone can relate to this poem because I'm sure just about everyone has had an experience with someone that they had fancied.

  4. 1.) This poem came from somewhere, but I have no idea where. I seriously like it though. I lot of good imagery, and strong emotion.
2.) your poem is not what I expected to find from the word "FAITH", but I love the turn it took in askign for someone to have faith, versus talking about having it.
    3.) this one is heartbreaking.
